HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR AND HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY TO ALL!!! How was the short holidays for all? Hope it has been enjoyable!

Reunion dinner was good for me! Almost the same dishes year after year. But hey, I'm not complaining. What matters most is having the whole family sitting down around the table and enjoying a nice meal together, which we hardly ever have the chance to do so, with work and what not. My cousins have all grown up, pretty girls and handsome boys now. Hard not to admit my age.

Valentine's Day was a rather quiet affair this year, probably because it falls on the same day as Chinese New Year. Caught the movie Valentine's Day with my valentine, of course! Was a simple and sweet movie. We skipped the restaurants, flowers and expensive presents this time round as we have so many upcoming plans for the whole year ahead. *excited*

Looking forward to Chingay parade on Friday with my boy! It's our first! And I'll be joining the street party on Saturday after Chingay at the F1 Pit Building!

Have not been blogging for the longest time! Hope all things are good for everyone out there! Decided to spend some time on my little space today.

Just came back from a jog and feeling really healthy! Still keeping up my jogging regime which is a good thing. BTO results for Punggol Sails/Ripples was out sometime last week and didn't manage to get a unit! Disappointed, of course. However, there's still Dawson @ Queenstown to fall back on. Results expected to be out some time towards the end of the month, and I hope that we can secure a unit as our future love nest! If not, another new BTO for Punggol is expected to be released this month too! Work has been so-so, but the closer bond with colleagues make it a tad bit easier. However, it's definitely not wise to stay put. Have been sending resumes and hopefully, good news await!

HAPPY 2010! Credits to my talented colleague, Darren Peng for the above masterpiece! Yes, the party pies! HAHA!

Just came back from Tampines 1 Uniqlo with my Honey Pie and we lugged back a whole bag of winter wear in preparation for our Japan trip next March/April! Both of us are really excited about the trip! Headed to NTUC Finest after that to grab some groceries. Yakult, Marigold yogurt, ham, cheese and bread! Yums. Honey Pie shared with me his new year resolutions which I am totally supportive and proud of! What's yours? Let me share mine!

1) To lead a healthy lifestyle and change my eating habits. Less carbohydrates, less junk food, less meat, more vegetables and fruits!

2) To maintain my jogging regime, at least a 2.4km every week!

3) Spend more time with my loved ones instead of spending so much time at work.

4) Spend less and save more money!

Met my girls on the eve of New Year's Eve at SoulOut, Pasir Ris Farmway. Had dinner and gift exchange!

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL! How was your holidays?

This whole week has been very pleasant for me. Was on leave and only had to head back to office on Wednesday and Thursday for Christmas celebrations because we were totally not in the mood to work. Met my Honey Pie almost everyday and I am loving that! Although we just did daily simple stuff together, but still, I guess the simplest things bring you the greatest joy. We caught Bodyguards and Assassins, as well as Avatar in 3D. Bodyguards and Assassins was a great show. No main characters dominated the show, every cast had a fair role and a fair part. Was abit skeptical about watching Avatar initially, with all the blue characters in the show. However, I was totally wrong! Avatar is a movie with a great plot and strong storyline. Graphics were pretty as well.

Pictures of Christmas celebrations in the office and traces of the Christmas cow! The cow was practically everywhere! Having an adventure of its own.

And congratuations to Wan Eng who gave birth to her Christmas baby boy on 25 December 2009 at 0000 hours! Say HELLO and MERRY CHRISTMAS to Baby Justin! He's such an angel.

It's coming to the end of 2009 very soon! Time really flew by. It has been a year of ups and downs at work and I shall not go into the nitty gritty details. Made new friends and new colleagues, gained back lost friendships, challenged myself at work.

2010 will be an exciting year for me with so many things to look forward to! Our new house in Punggol or Dawson (I hope we get it, pleaseeeee!), PA corporate model photoshoot, job rotation/promotion, Japan trip in March/April, more of my Honey Pie, more of my girlfriends and more good things coming my way!

Been missing in action for 2 months! Wonder if anybody is still reading my blog now hahs.

Work has been bearable enough because of my colleagues, but the load is never ending. Boss keeps assigning me with tasks one after another, events one after another, and not to mention other responsibilities and duties that I am currently holding. But with every completion of a task or assignment makes me feel proud of myself, and drives me on to prove to others that I can do it, more and even better than what is expected of me. Yes, competitive. I will give myself another 6 months after which I will hit my 2 years mark in PA and I will then try for a promotion or a job rotation, or move on.

Other than work, have been spending quality time with my love, cohort mates and girlfriends too! Went Sitex last weekend with my Honey Pie and look at what we got! He bought a cool and sparkling white Lenovo S10-2 netbook for me! Blogging from it now! And I got him a 32GB Ipod Touch which he always wanted to get and he's totally in love and in awe with lol. A little gift to mark our two years anniversary this month! Teeheehee...

Was on course for the week and met my cohort mates and our cute lecturer, Mr Louis Leow for dinner at Vivo Marche after that! Has been a long time since we met up and it really brought back alot of memories. Induction days are probably the best days in our entire PA career!

Met up with the lovely girlfriends at Orchard Central to celebrate Diana's birthday! Although only 5 of us turned up, we had our own fair share of fun! Enjoyed the B&J ice cream that Heaven Loft served! Especially Miaoling's favourite Coffee Coffee Buzz Buzz Buzz haha!

Meeting YY and Cookie for shopping later before heading to Grand Hyatt for Ah Guan's wedding in the evening! One of the first few among us to get married! I'm excited because my Honey Pie will be his emcee for the dinner! Hehs!

I have something exciting coming up within the next two weeks and hopefully, all will go well! I am crossing my fingers! Here's some updates on recent happenings!

Went kite flying with my Honey Pie again last Saturday! This time round, at Tampines. Both of us decided that we should get a better, bigger and more professional kite soon. Our current small kite doesn't give us any kick now and it's flying so low even at it's maximum length as compared to other kites.

Flea market at Katong Village the next day with Miaoling dearie! Weather was super scorching hot and humid. But the sales was pretty good! Already made sales before I even managed to get my stall ready. Each of us sold about $200 worth of clothes! Was such a blast! So glad we managed to clear most of our clothes! Anticipating the next flea market! HUAT AH!

Attended Chek Pap's company family day at Gardenesia. The event was very well done! There was free flow of ice cream (I went for 3 servings!), popcorn and candy floss. We entertained ourselves with comic drawings and free photo-taking! Cute eh?

Been missing for some time! But all is good! Massive amount of photos!

Ice-cream buffet at ION Swensens with my Honey Pie on a random Wednesday after work. Unlimited waffles, cakes, toppings and of course, ICE CREAM! About more than 60 flavours to choose from: Passion fruit, lychee, durian, soursop strawberry kiwi and many more special flavours which you hardly ever get to taste?

Ah Chew desserts on yet another random Wednesday. Decided to have a change of menu and go for Watermelon and Honeydew Sago instead of my usual Mango Pomelo. Tasted just as good, in my opinion.

Met up with the university girls after soooooo long! Dinner at 85, and headed over to Siglap to continue the night chatting away. Looking forward to our KTV session next month!

Just came back from a chalet at Downtown East with the TMS girls over the weekend! Was such fun! Has been a long time since we last had a chalet. All of us brought our better half along, be it partners or friends. Mahjong and Wii (Raving Rabbids!!!) kept all of us awake until 4.30am when most of us left for the day.

Stayed over at Jurong! Recharged and played Wii with my Honey Pie again! Lol! Caught Inglorious Basterds after dinner at Jurong Point. Was a darn good flim and I realised that I actually do like war flims, not that I am a sadist. Brad Pitt has a really laughable accent in the show haha! Inglorious Basterds isn't your typical shoot bang war flim. Do catch it!

Aloha Bintan! 12 to 13 August 2009 .

Managed to squeeze out some time despite the hectic work schedule for a much needed getaway with my Honey Pie which both of us badly need.

Ready to set off! Boarded the ferry and after one hour, we arrived at sunny Bintan island!

We were greeted by pretty Malay dancers and served with chilled drinks while waiting to check in at the lobby of Nirwana Gardens Resort Hotel.

Headed to the cafe for lunch. Place was huge, with not many customers. Delicious food they served, with a big serving as well! My Honey Pie was up to his tricks again.

Was darn eager to start our activities! We went rifle shooting! Really cool, especially so for me since I have not held a rifle before. Shooting was peanuts to the boy as he used to be a marksman during his NS life. The adrenaline rush from firing the shots was woohoo! Bang bang bang! I shot down a couple of targets and was pretty impressed with myself. Lol!

After which, I went horse riding and elephant riding! Was such a pity that it rained while I was riding the elephant! Nevertheless, I went ahead with an umbrella and my elephant rider really took great care of me. It was truly a different experience riding the elephant in the rain!

By the time I finished the elephant ride, I was soaked. Went back to the hotel to change and the weather became sunny again! Changed into our swim gear and headed to the swimming pool for a dip! Followed by our shioky pie massage session in the evening!

We were treated like king and queen and had the whole garden to ourselves. Massage in the wild, after which we took a shower and rested in the lounge before we headed to the kelong for dinner!

Only took these pictures as I already started gobbling some of the dishes before I remembered that I forgot to take pictures!

By the time dinner ended, it was already 11.00pm. Headed back to the hotel to rest for the day and woke up for a sumptuous and hearty breakfast buffet the next day!

Before long, it was already time to check out and head back to Singapore. Although it was only a short 2D1N trip, I totally enjoyed it. Away from office, no phone calls, no mails. Carefreeeee!

Work has not been easy. Really feel so tired, vexed and bothered by some idiots that I feel like giving up at times. Have sent out my resumes and I am keeping my fingers crossed!

On a lighter note, will be going to NATAS to check out the packages with my Honey Pie tomorrow. That means...we are planning another trip again!

The whole office made a trip down to HQ on Thursday to share the joy of getting the Special Teamwork Award! Hurray! It was a joyous occasion, and you hardly ever see all of us in full form, probably only this once. Felt like Chinese New Year, everyone was in particularly high spirits. Celebration lunch at Garuda after that.

Met up with YY and Cookie after work for dinner and drinks. Chill out session, Harry's @ Esplanade. They never fail to bring me joy and laughter, irregardless of the topics.

KTV with my Honey Pie on Saturday! He can come up with all sorts of tricks to make me laugh until my stomach hurts. My daily dosage of happiness. Greetings from both of us! Love this shot!

July has been a dreadful month, with many major events. But the people around me definitely made it soooooo much better!

Been up to my neck at work and working like a mad cow lately. This is probably going to last until after National Day at least. However, am really glad that my hard work and effort paid off and rewarded duly. Every event gives me a sense of satisfication.

Despite the busy schedule and hectic workload, still managed to meet up with my love ones!

Celebrated Joanne's birthday in advance at Paragon Sushi Tei.

Dinner date with the NTU peeps on a Sunday. It's usually not easy for us to meet up and I rushed down immediately after my kickboxing class to catch up over my favourite dinner place at Pastamania teeheehee!

Really cannot wait to fast foward to August after National Day and spend a short holiday with my Honey Pie at Bintan!

One of the Saturdays at Jurong Bird Park! It was Blood Donors Day and my Honey Pie donates blood at least once every year! Cannot even remember when was the last time I visited JBP but I'm glad we got the chance to! Penguins are my favourites! Uber cute!

See the pair of parrots kissing? So sweet and full of love. Teeheehee.

Before we left, I went to visit the penguins yet again! And also managed to find the owls. Was really dark inside and I was greatly disturbed by how some vistors just refused to switch off their flash despite the constant reminders. I guess the owls were just as disturbed and I felt so sorry for them.

On another side note, work has been suffocating. And I reckon this will continue for another 2 weeks more or so. After mid-July, I am definitely going to take a few days break just to rest and relax at home before Bintan trip with Honey Pie!

Random bubbles.

1) Started jogging two weeks back. Making it a point to jog at least once a week.

2) Going to start my kick-boxing course soon at the end of June! My Honey Pie has been extremely supportive of my exercise regime and he even bought me a yoga mat already!

3) Been very unhealthy lately and the people around me are more worried than myself. Trying to correct my eating habits and hopefully, my health will improve!

4) Planning another short trip with my Honey Pie in August! Probably going to Bintan! Whee!

There you go! My big 24th, gone in a flash! As usual, it wasn't anything lavish at all. I guess as age catches up with me, I prefer simple celebrations where I can just have fun with the people I love.

Sunday, 17th May.

Celebrated with my girls. Been together since Secondary 1, which means this is the 11th time they are celebrating my birthday for me?! Oh gawd...we are really getting old, no doubts about that lol. Went to Diana's house for KTV and Mahjong, after which we ordered delivery. It was just a homie gathering, instead of our usual restaurant outings. They bought me a cake, which was uber delicious! And we dug into the whole cake with 8 forks.

Group shots! YY and Suat weren't able to join us on that day as they were both overseas. But fret not! We're meeting again 1 month later for Miaoling's birthday celebration!

Tuesday, 19th May.

Ended work on time and went to meet the NTU peeps for dinner and chilling session at Vivo. Forgotten when was the last time we met up. But my birthday serves as a good reason for a much needed gathering despite our busy schedules! Thai Accent for dinner.

Chilling session at Brotzeit after dinner. Talked about a couple of issues and I realised that with age comes wisdom lol. We have all matured into fine young ladies and gentlemen. Excellent beer they have there!

Wednesday, 20th May.

Some mild shopping with Lionel the dodo and Coffee Club for tea. His birthday is 9 days after mine. So, we're definitely going to meet again very very soon! And Miaoling's birthday is just 2 weeks after his birthday! Lol. Great! I love celebrations!

Thursday, 21st May!

Officially 24! Woke up at 9-ish with my love* beside me! Prepared and headed to Harbourfront for dim sum buffet at Dragon Gate Restaurant. They serve really fabulous food there, and the price is reasonable as well. Pig-ed out! We wanted to try as many varieties as possible.

Weather was really sunny that day, just to our liking! Because we already had plans to spend a relaxing afternoon in Sentosa at Cafe Del Mar!

Found a cosy corner and settled down to soak up the sun! We're were practically roasted but I'm delighted! Love my tan! Self-entertained with my cammie which is going to fail me anytime.

It was definitely a relaxing day for both of us, away from office, phone calls, emails! Puuuurfect!

Packed up, showered, and headed over to Marche for din din. We were still pretty filled up from the buffet lunch, didn't order alot but enough to satisfy us. Yummy rosti and my all-time favourite strawberry cake!

And last but not least, I shall end this post with my birthday present from Honey Pie! *bling bling* Teeheehee...

Have been busy and lazy to blog but I reckon I better start now, in order not to disappoint my loyal readers...if there are any lol.

Met up with Miaoling and Lionel 2 weeks back. Sakae Sushi for dinner at Bugis. All of us were in black pants on that day! Now, it's rather rare to spot Miss Leenie in pants, mind you. Haha!

Made a trip down to Singapore Philatelic Museum on Saturday with my Honey Pie! The musuem is not that huge, but surprisingly, there were many interesting sights to keep us occupied for a good 2 hours!

Moo Moos are my best friends! Don't they look cute in their costumes? I feel like kidnapping the boards to decorate my room. Especially the diva moo moo in the last picture!

Still recall the old scooter that Mr Postman used to travel on? Teeheehee. It's definitely much cuter than the current one. Being in the Singapore Philatelic Museum meant something to me because I have been visiting Singpost rather frequently to mail out dresses to the livejournal.com buyers!

Mardhiah and Adam finally got married last Sunday at Pasir Ris East CC! Because it was a Chinese-Malay wedding, there was Lion Dance too! Both of them definitely look good together! The wedding was a nicely done up, and it was a lovely, heart-warming, and touching affair.

Turning 24 on 21st May! Which is tomorrow! Will blog about my birthday gatherings in the next post! Can't wait to collect my birthday present from Honey Pie which will only be ready for collection on 25th May!

OH HOW I LOVE PUBLIC HOLIDAYS~

Labour Friday.

Had wanted to go for dim sum buffet with my Honey Pie at Far East Square Zhou's Kitchen but it didn't occur to us to make a reservation before that. Ended up at Subway. LOL! But I kinda like the ambience of the Subway outlet at Far East Square. Very country.

Walked over to Asian Civilisation Museum for the exhibition on Kangxi Emperor. There were a few other on-going exhibitions too. Had to take our temperature as a precaution before we went in due to the spread of swine flu. Taking of pictures was prohibited in certain areas, thus, couldn't take much pictures too.

Sunny Saturday.

My Honey Pie went for his IPPT in the morning and met me in the afternoon for cycling at ECP! Weather was good, it wasn't exactly scorching hot.

Dropped by Fu Lin's along East Coast Road for Yong Tau Foo. Thumbs up! As good as ever. We had two bowls of noodles each lol! Since The Cheesecake Cafe was just a few steps away, we packed a slice of American Classic Cheesecake home! Yums!

It's finally MAY! WOOLALA! I'm turning 24! Nope, not dreading it. It's a joyous ocassion! How I wish May would just stay and not go away because I'm gonna get terribly busy at work after that.

BUT STILL, I have tonnes and heaps of stuffs to look forward to! :)

Work for the past week had been a tad bit more interesting. What makes it interesting is helping my new boss to familarise himself around office and introducing him to a whole bunch of new people in his career. For myself, main focus for the next two months has definitely got to be BGM!!!

That aside, my honey pie ended work early on Wednesday and accompanied me for some shopping at FEP. Has been really long since my last visit and boy am I glad I made a trip down hehs. Soup Spoon for dinner, which seemed really healthy. Soup and sandwiches.

Walked around for a short while after dinner and my honey pie kept complaining of tired legs, so much so that he had to sit down lol.

Just yesterday, we went furniture-looksee at IKEA. IKEA has sooooo many furniture that I adore! Simple and chic and reasonably-priced. Lots of nice concepts and layouts for consideration too. My silly honey pie did something super hilarious at IKEA which I shall not disclose here. Made him turn into a red tomato instantly on the spot lol.

Next week is defnitely going to be another better week! Attending courses and meetings on Monday and Tuesday, brainstorming meeting/session on Thursday and it's time to embrace the weekend again!

Had an amazing HK trip with my Honey Pie, just the two of us. Nothing beats that.

Reached the airport at close to 5am for our 640am flight. Checked in and went to have yummy BK breakfast. I love the hashbrowns!

It was so silly of me to think that Gucci would still be opened for business at such an early hour. But still, how could I resist not paying a visit? Teeheehee...

On the flight and another 3.5 hours to Hongkong! Love the beautiful morning sky!

Was really windy and cloudy when we touched down. Immediately went to purchase our Octopus card! 3 days of unlimited MTR rides! Took the Airport Express and changed to the MTR to reach our hotel at Jordon station.

Our home for the 5D4N in HongKong! Prudential Hotel! It's really good and reasonably priced! Even my honey pie agreed with me on this. Our hotel is situated right above Jordon MTR station, together with a few levels of shopping outlets! Located along Nathan Road, it's really near to places like Tsim Sha Tsui, Mong Kok, Causeway Bay etc.

After putting away our luggage at the hotel, we went for lunch at Mak's Noodles. Shopping at Times Square and Island Beverly. Desserts at Hui Liu Shan after that, which can be found in almost every corner in Hong Kong.

Figured out we had enough of shopping, so we decided to take the Peak Tram up. Along the way.

Settled for dinner at the restaurant just outside Madam Tussauds. We really cannot wait to see all the celebrity wax figures! Hong Kong Day serves pretty decent food too! Ordered their curry which was uber delicious!

And off we went to Madam Tussauds! Jay Chou got me really excited! My honey pie was trying to act cool beside Brad Pitt.

My honey pie definitely has alot of ideas when it comes to taking random shots with the wax figures.

Taking photos with these wax figures becomes an addiction unknowingly. Both of us were experimenting with different poses lol.

We met Mr Obama there as well! He's the latest addition to the family! But I find him a tad bit skinnier than the real him. Nevertheless, we took a picture with him and made keychains for ourselves! I think I look like Mr Obama's daughter standing there beside him and holding his arm haha...

Woke up for breakfast buffet the next morning. And then, we took a ferry and bus to Lantau Island to visit the Giant Buddha at Po Lin Monastery. Look at how cloudy the day was.

Climbed over one hundred steps to reach the majestic Giant Buddha. It's awesome and you can really feel the aura when you're near the Giant Buddha. I prayed to him and I hope the Giant Buddha heard my prayers!

Had vegetarian food for lunch! Everyone knows I dont't eat veggies, but this was an exception. And surprisingly, the food was nice! Wisdom Path after lunch. Hoped I gained some wisdom haha...

Was already evening by the time we got back to the city. To SoHo and Lan Kwai Fong. Pretty sights. And we spent the rest of the night shopping away!

To Disneyland the next day! Ohmyohmy! Highlight of the trip! I was fascinated by every little thing. Look at the Disney MTR! Cushion seats with Disney figurines in the train!

Instantly transformed into a little kid when I reached Disneyland and started snapping away!

Purchased our tickets and off we went! All the staff in Disneyland were very nice to take pictures for us, even without us having to ask!

Winnie The Pooh was forcing my Honey Pie to squat down beside him as he's too tall! Lol. Pluto hi-fived me nose to nose! Which left my nose hurting for quite a while after that. His nose was real hard! And Goofy looks rather tired!

Visited Tarzan's Treehouse where we had to take a boat ride, followed by the raft.

Buzz Lightyear has gotta be our favourite character! He's so full of actions! And he poses just like Aaron Kwok. Towards the evening, there was this Disney-like Chingay Parade where all the Disney characters paraded themselves in their respective floats. Joyful and joyous.

Parting shots with Chip & Dale, Donald Duck and Jessy! Couldn't find Woody anywhere! And Donald Duck is really sooooo cute! Times flies when you're having fun! I really had buckets of fun with all the characters! Hi-fiving them and giving them beary hugs!

Left Disneyland in the late evening and headed for Avenue of Stars at night.

Some randoms of us in Hong Kong for the nights. Lots of interesting sights to take in. Makes you feel like you're in a Canto drama serial lol.

On the last day, we went to get the famous 恒香Wife's biscuits. Took us quite a while to find the shop house. Passed by the Bank of China along the way and witnessed an on-going protest. The policemen were all on standby and we still had the cheek to ask them where to get the Wife's biscuits which they helpfully told us lol.

Time to leave for home! The famous airport in 冲上云霄! Haha...the feeling of going back to Singapore, stepping back into office and reading emails totally makes me want to stay in Hong Kong forever. Thinking that we were still early for our flight, we went for breakfast and shook our butts to check in. To our horror, we actually missed the last call! Ran and ran and ran all the way after check-in to the gate. It was like a 400m sprint or something. I swear my heart almost stopped, thinking about the possibility of missing the flight. I was secretly thinking of staying one day in the Disneyland Resort if we really did miss our flight lol. But thank god for not missing our flight eventually! The whole plane was practically waiting for us. Felt my face turn red when I boarded the plane lol. Our first holiday together and definitely not the last. Thank you, my love. For taking care of me during the trip. I know I'm a muddlehead all the time! Hehs. It was a great 5D4N in Hong Kong for us!

Work has been busy as usual. Boss is leaving our office soon. Have been helping him to clear his office space but it will probably take another three years to clear his office space lol. March is going to be an eventful month!

My honey pie was back home in Singapore last week! Spent much time catching up over the weekend. Caught Slumdog Millionaire which was SURPRISINGLY GOOD! And true enough, it won 8 Oscars. Says pretty much about the show, I guess. Do catch it! I'm sure you will not regret. Re-live the good old days of 'WHO WANTS TO BE A MILLIONAIRE!' Lol. Spent some time at Daddy's company retreat as well.

LOVE...is in the air!

Received a parcel at work on Monday which got me really puzzled initially. But after a few minutes, the mystery was solved! My love* actually sent my Valentine's present to my office! And guess what's in the box?

Ipod Nano in sexy red! My favourite colour! It's really slim and sleek. Came in a nice white packaging and a card with some words for me. My love* engraved some words on the reverse side of the Ipod Nano too! Really sweet and pretty!

Was at the airport to send off my love* yesterday. He's going away for one week and will be back next Friday! And about one week after he's back, both of us will be flying to HongKong from 1st March to 5th March! I reallyyyyyy cannot wait! Whee!

Spending some lovely time together.

After a day of fun water activities yesterday, both of us caught The Curious Case of Benjamin Button at Downtown East. It was awesome. I love the show. Even though it lasted for nearly 3 hours, but seriously, I enjoyed every moment of the plot. Brad Pitt looked extraordinary young in the show! Like my boy said, he looked like he never aged at all, since Meet Joe Black. Cate Blanchett was a very pretty lady as well.

There were many touching moments in the show. It was sad to know that Benjamin Button can never take care of her own daughter because of his reverse aging. But still, after leaving Cate Blancett and her daughter, he continued to write postcards for her daughter every single year, expressing his love for her and that she has never been forgotten by her father and how her father wished he could stay by her side and take care of her. Towards the end of the show, Benjamin Button grew to be a 85 year old baby who died in the arms of his love, Cate Blancett.

I seriously adore the show! One of the best shows that I have watched in recent times.

That aside, my boy is going on an overseas work trip next Friday, which means I'll be without him this Valentines. But then again, it's not exactly a bad thing. We can avoid squeezing crowds on a Saturday and he can save up on expensive roses which I am strongly against. Just bring him back, safe and sound...that's all that matters!

HAPPY NIU NIU YEAR!

GONG XI GONG XI!

Today is the last day of my CNY holidays and it's back to work tomorrow! It was a heart-warming CNY with my family, my love* and some of my beloved friends!

Reunion dinner has become a yearly rountine, even the dishes remain the same every year hehs...but everyone loves it!

Relatives flooded my house on the first day and my boy came over for dinner at night. It feels really good to have him sit at the table and have din din with my whole family.

Went visiting on the second day which was really tiring. Toa Payoh to Ang Mo Kio to Serangoon to Kembangan and then to Jurong for dinner at my boy's house. Spent a few hours just lazing and resting at his house before we went to Cookie's house for our overnight MJ session! Even though all of us lost to Cookie ultimately, I enjoyed playing with them always! Had Mac for supper which the winner paid for us hehs...reached home and concussed all the way up till now.

12 more days of CNY! Continue to have fun!

Have been less busy at work nowadays...but still, there's always other ad-hoc stuff to be done. Boss has been promoted, and will be leaving our office very soon. It's a mixture of feelings for us...we're glad that he's promoted because he definitely deserved it, but then again, he has been such a good boss that we hope he stays here with us. But oh wells...I guess that's life? And also, the PA headquaters will move from its current location at Kallang to Jalan Besar and we just went to make our new staff pass! New year, new changes!

Last Monday.

KTV at Katong with Miaoling, Lionel, Zhiwei and Daohao. It was Daohao's first time hanging out with us and I'm glad we got along really well. In the end, it turned out to be a mini TPJC Alumini gathering! Lol...all of us actually graduated from TPJC, just a year difference. It was a night of crazy singing and wild photo shots!

Over the weekend, we pre-celebrated YY's and Shirley's 24th birthday in advance! Dined at Modesto's. They served pretty decent traditional Italian food with reasonable servings. We spent most of the night chatting away and planning for our upcoming activities over the delicious cheesecake that Suat bought for us! All present except Miaoling.

Went to work on Tuesday and received a pleasant surprise on my desk! The sweetest colleagues are all in my office! Lol.

Have been spending some quality time with my boy as well. Over the last two weeks, we visited Chinatown to soak in the CNY mood! It was super squeezy and we practically moved inches through every minute lol. But it was a good experience. We caught the much awaited Red Cliff 2. Liked it just like the first sequel, but my boy thought the second sequel was very John Woo-ish hehs...

Manicure to welcome CNY! I LOVE doing manicures, no idea why. My favourite has gotta be the French manicure, but decided to paint it peachy red this time round. Result turned out to be fantastfabulous!

CNY is just around the corner! And I'm going to have a long break of 5 days from work! Yay! Looking forward to everything about CNY! Food, gatherings, red packets, holidays!

The week at work has been packed with meetings, preparations for events and random stuffs which have piled up over the weeks. Finally cleared them. Next week is going to be another busy week with meetings and courses to attend. But I'm adopting a postive attitude and making the best out of things!

On Monday, I met up with Miaoling and Lionel for dinner at Suntec. Had Crystal Jade La Mian Xiao Long Bao. Food was good, thats why we ordered too much lol. Our dear Lionel is having a tough time right now but remember, I'm always a phone call away, a message away, 15 minutes car ride away, or 29 bus stops away! Cheer up! Not much pictures for the day, as the mood was really solemn lol. No Lionel, not blaming you. We know you will recover the next time we see you, which happens to be tomorrow!

Dinner with my man on Wednesday after work. Went to Bugis and Ah Chew for desserts after that! They still serve the best mango pomelo, no doubts about that. Looks good and tastes even better!
On Saturday, we went cycling again! Time for some healthy lifestyle although it isn't really that tiring to cycle around Bedok Reservoir. A lot to see along the way, and I relived my childhood memories on the swing for a tad short while before I was surrounded by some kids lol. Drove to Simpang after that for a SUPER fulfilling meal. My stomach was inches away from brusting. Oily stuff but I guess it's ok to have it once in a while. Tea at Cafe Cartel to mark the end of the day.

Of Love And Friendship.

Met up with YY, Cookie and Zikai on Monday. We haven't met for 5 months since Convocation. Thus, it was really time for some catching up! Dined at Thai Express, my favourite! And of course, the guys have to give in to my request! It was a really enjoyable and fulfilling meal.

Settled down at Starbucks for coffee after dinner! And of course, how can the two guys not cooperate when Miss LeeNie whips out the camera? Lol. Updated on our happenings for the past 5 months and we're arranging to meet up during CNY for MJ!

Didn't had to work on New Year's Eve and so, I went for tuition and met up with my dearest beloved YY for shopping! Didn't do much damage to my pockets, but I got what I wanted! Pastamania for dinner, another of my favourites! There's a new outlet just outside Far East, open concept. She reached her maximum photo-taking shots on that day with me lol.

Met my love* for a New Year lunch at Vivo Thai Accent! It's really yummy and I can never stop raving about how good their Tom Yum Goong is! Spicy! I say it's much better than Thai Express for me!

And after some shopping, we settled down at Pacific Coffee Company. It's my favourite hunt for relaxation. I will always choose the swing seats or the big cushion couch. Super comfortable and perfect for lazing. Chatted the afternoon away without realising the time. He really cracks me up with his multiple expressions. How can I not be happy with him around? All these expressions, while he was singing " I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing".

Went over to Suat's house in the late afternoon to meet my girlies! We exchanged gifts for the New Year! For this new year, I bought a present for RP again, just like last year! And I am truly happy that she really liked the cuddly cushion. I know she really liked it from her expression lol. And I got a present from Joanne this year! Oh whee! Joanne has always been the most considerate when it comes to buying presents and she got me a dress with floral prints! I love it and I am definitely going to wear it! After the gift exhange, we drove to T3 in 3 cars for desserts at Earle Swensens!

Off to a good start for the year! Looking forward to more celebrations with all of these lovely people during CNY!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Brand new start for each and every one of us! May all good things come your way in the new year!

Year 2008 has been an exciting year for me. In fact, it was a rather good year for me! Let's take a look back at what happened for me last year:

The last semester of my final year in NTU was spent on FYP. It was definitely a love-hate relationship with all those signals issues. However, I am really glad I chose the right FYP partner to brave through it all. From testing to reports to presentations.

My last day of school with my best bunch of school mates I always hung around with. Mugging sessions at Expo CoffeeBean, mugging sessions in Canteen B, gossips session, PSP, conquering past year exam papers together, consulting Professors together. So much, so much.

And then, I celebrated my 23rd birthday! Kept it simple, but it was heart-warming with the love* and my beloved girlfriends. My best birthday ever.

My boy went on his trekking trip to Nepal for three weeks as his graduation trip. Really thankful that he came back safe and sound. Never been this far away from him for so long. We shared alot of memories for the past one year which can never be replaced.

Convocation 2008! The ceremony that marks the end of my 16 years of education. The best part was, I graduated with my love* and my whole bunch of good friends! And both our parents attended the ceremony as well!

And of course, I started my first job up till now. Got my first pay, got my first bonus. It's not an easy job like how others deem it to be, although the pay is reasonably good. There were ups and downs during the last 6 months, and I truly feel like giving up this job at times. But on the other hand, there are really many factors which makes me so reluctant to quit just like that. I really like the people that I meet during my course of work, and I am learning how to appreciate and enjoy my work more now.

That sums up my eventful 2008! May the Year 2009 be an even much better year for myself and all the people that I love around me!

MERRY Christmas!

How was Christmas for everyone? Sure hope it was warm and cozy despite the chilly weather!

Had to work on Christmas eve, without the half day. Total BOOHOO. But all was merry at work and nobody was in the mood to work, seriously. We ordered pizzas and exchanged gifts. Boss gave all of us Capital Land vouchers! Whee! Gonna get a pair of killer heels from C&K! My presents from colleagues and one of the Chairman. We counted down to Christmas together, clinking red wine glasses.

Christmas day was spent with the boy. Seriously, public holidays do not mean anything to us, except another day for us to spend more time together with each other. Slept till late noon due to the late night before for both of us, met the boy for shopping at Peninsula Plaza to get his jersey and headed back for home-cooked dinner.

The weather was exceptionally good yesterday! And off we went for kite-flying! It was only last week that we went to Marina Barrage for picnic and we're back again this week! Kite-flying was really an experience! Need some kinda patience as well but it was real fun and the satisfication just sets in when you see the kite at its highest point, when you can no longer release any more string and you can only feel the string tugging at your fingers. It was both our first time, and I loved it! Woohoo! Our kite is beautiful, with the myraids of colours~ Looks real pretty aganist the backdrop of the clear blue sky.

Short week at work next week! Yippee! I just love year end, with Christmas and New Year. And next week is gonna be full of love and friendship! Great way to end Year 2008, which has been a really good year for me!

Basking In The Season Of Love & Joy

Lovely picnic at Marina Barrage last Saturday with my boy! It's really a great place to spend a relaxing afternoon. The vast patch of greenery, the lovely blue sky, and the nice view all around. Seems that it's a very popular place among many others as well. We're definitely going back there again really soon for our next picnic and kite-flying session!

Our dearest whom we simply adore to bits, and brought both of us so much joy. My favourite Eeyore, my favourite Yan Yan strawberry biscuits, and my favourite boy.

Never complete without my honey bunny. His expressions are getting more versatile than mine.

And on Monday, both of us took the day off work to celebrate our anniversary. It was a special day for both of us and I can still remember the exact day one year ago teeheehee. Everything has not changed one bit. We're still us, with the same feelings, or even stronger than before.

Lunch at Swensens. The set lunches are so worth it. Pay for the main course and you get the soup, drink and ice cream as well!

Lunch was followed by movie! We caught Ip Man! I'm crazy over Donnie Yen! And the movie was really good. Full of action, and a tad bit of humour. We were so engrossed with the movie that the Donnie Yen craze continued for the rest of the day after the movie.

Walked around for abit and these cute Precious Moments giant figurines in Christmas settings were too cute to resist!

Guess where we were headed to next? Singapore Flyer!

There was a man-made rainforest at the Flyer which got the boy really excited when he saw all the rocks. So excited that he started climbing them. I have a Spiderman boyfriend lol.

Got into our touristy mood and explored the place. Both our first time at Singapore Flyer! And we agreed it will probably be the last, unless we are going to bring our parents for the next ride hehs.

My boy is an aspiring photographer. Look at his shots. So artsy lol.

I bugged him to take photos with me the whole day teeheehee.

Our flight was at 7.00pm which was a really good time!

The city lights were darn pretty. Breath-taking. It didnt seem like a 30 minutes ride to me. Felt much shorter. But it was an enjoyable ride with the boy.

Dinner was at Shokudo Japanese Food Bazaar. There was quite a long queue when we arrived and had to wait a while to get a seat. The food they served was pretty ok, and both of us had a really gratifying meal. I love the rosti! Yums!

It was a really simple day, more like a simple date. But what matters most is the person beside me. The best that can ever happen to me.

Pulau Ubin Adventure.

On a bright and sunny Saturday morning, I woke up early for Mega Mac breakfast with the boyfriend and off we headed to Pulau Ubin for our cycling expedition! Took a ferry at Changi Ferry Terminal and reached after a 10 minutes ride on the bum boat.

Along the way. The sun, the sea, the blue blue skies and the greenery. Everthing looks so serene.

Upon reaching Pulau Ubin, I realised how different it is from Singapore. Pulau Ubin is sooooo...rural. Rented our bicycles and went exploring around the island. It wasn't easy cycling on the island, especially up the slopes. Taxing and tedious! But it served as a good work out and it felt good to be away from the city. The boyfriend bought insect repellent and sweets for me, which worked wonders during the trip.

Chek Jawa, been there and back. Wasn't what I expected and imagned it to be, but still, it provided us with lots of interesting sights.

Made our way back slightly before evening, went home to shower and headed out for dinner again! The sun was so hot that day, so much so that I have disgustingly uneven tan lines now lol. But ever since we came back, it has been raining non-stop since Sunday.

Has been a crazy week for me at work. I'm overloaded with work and very tired. I desperately need a getaway! But I don't foresee it anytime soon in the near future. Sighs.

This week has been a fruitful week!

Met up with YY, Cuixia and Kaijing at Waraku @ Central for Monday Ladies Night! 50% off total bill! Woohoo~ There was a rather long queue by the time we ended work and arrived at the restaurant. Waited until 8pm before we finally had a seat! And it was a good seat indeed! Look at the scenic view over-looking Clarke Quay!

We ordered loads of food and managed to clear all of them! Can never get enough of the soup and kept asking for re-fill hehs...

Spent a great deal of time catching up until about 10.30pm before we finally felt that it was really time to go home as all of us had to work the next day. Had to take a group shot to mark the end of the day! When will be the next Monday Waraku session, girls? Hehs!

And on Wednesday, it was time to meet up with Lionel after his SMU exams! Headed down to Mint Cafe for dinner and I absolutely love the food there! Ordered Crab Meat Pasta topped with mushrooms and Lionel had Salmon Steak. Yummy! But the Chocolate Truffle for dessert was a major disappointment! Other than that, I highly recommend the main courses! It always feels good to talk to good old Lionel about anything because he simply offers me the best advice.

It was the long weekend and I spent some really quality time with my family and boyfriend! Dinner with the boy on Saturday night at Fish&Co after his basketball tournament in which his team got 3rd place among all the tough competitors! Well done! Whee! It was Fish&Co's 10th year anniversary and they came up with new menus, as well as new promotions which went pretty well.

Headed down to West Coast Mall for dinner and MOF desserts after a magic show in the afternoon along with all the kids. Best thing is, there is no GST or service charge at MOF. All prices that you see on the menu are NETT price!

Went Christmas/CNY shopping around town today! Got myself a few satisfied buys! But the boyfriend and yours truly reckon that this is getting abit unhealthy for us as it has been a long time since we last did any sports together. The last time was cycling at ECP and swimming at Jurong East. Sooooo...we're going cycling again next week! This time round at Pulau Ubin! I hope and wish and pray for sunny weather next weekend!

And, I pampered myself with a new phone! Nokia E71! Am loving it! I love big phones! And what's more, it's in my favourite colour of white!

Has been a cold, rainy day. And I adore rainy days. Cooling weather and great for snuggling in bed! Off to sleep!

Life is full of ups and downs.

Glad my life is filled with more ups than downs!

My Thailand trip has been cancelled, yes. Due to the stupid protestors. I am utterly disappointed as I have been looking forward to it since August or September? Sigh. Such is life. But oh wells, it might be a blessing in disguise for all you know. What is becoming of the world now? Brainless protests in Thailand. Terrorist attack in Mumbai leading to the death of such a capable young lady. Is violence the only way to show how strong you are? All these are definitely uncalled for. It's real upsetting.

Anyway, that aside. Life with the people I love can never be better, even if it means being stuck in boring Singapore. Pre-celebrated Diana's birthday at Augus Steak House on Friday! Had our own private room to ourselves. Exactly what we needed for the big group of us! All of us enjoyed the ambience of the private room, the food and each other's company.

Needless to say, the food was slightly pricey, just slighty. But definitely worth every cent that we paid for. Service was pretty excellent as well.

As we were enclosed in our own world, we did not have to worry about scaring the diners away while carrying out our stunts in the room!

Left at 10.30pm as the restaurant was closing for the day, and headed back to Bedok Mac for drinks and chit-chat session! Orchard was in a super Chirstmas-y mood and we couldnt help but stop to take a photo with the giant Christmas tree at Taka!

Met my love* in the late afternoon on Saturday after he attended his colleague's church wedding. Headed for tea at NYDC and my boy bought me the COACH wristlet that I have always wanted! COACH Signature Collection in Kakhi Brown is classic! It's an early present for Christmas! Love it!

Work is getting busier by the days. There seemed to be endless amount of work to be completed, at least until next week.

Busy Like A Bee.

The pace at work is finally slowing down after my two major events. With every event, I learn something new, and there's still too much to learn. November is coming to an end. I'm glad I survived through it. Look at my packed schedule for this month! Phew!

My faithful little companion when I drive to work early in the mornings and come home late at nights! Safety always comes first!

Celebrated my boy's birthday on Wednesday, 19 November! His birthday is actually on 20 November, but he had a basketball tournament on that day, so we brought forward the celebration! It was a simple day and a simple celebration, but all that matters is each other's company.

Met up for dinner at Raffles City Sushi Tei after my boy ended work and I finished off entertaining the Shanghai delegates. The ambience of the restaurant was nice and needless to say, both of us were full of praises for the food there. Headed down to Azabu Sabo for Japanese desserts after dinner! Yums! We can never get sick of ice-cream.

Look how happy he is while opening his presents! Teeheehee. He's loving it!

On Saturday, we went to Macpherson for the Spanish Labels Bazaar Sale. After which, we headed down to Orchard for shopping and...more ice-cream at Gelatissimo. Frog leg porridge for dinner at night! Another simple yet enjoyable day.

Going to collect my new passport tomorrow. Have been having trouble at the Customs with the current passport as the photo is too out-dated. And since it's going to expire soon and I'm going away for my holiday really soon, might as well get it replaced. Will share my ku-ku face after I get my passport! Lol.

Sweet November

Pampered myself with a manicure on Wednesday evening. Had been ages since I last had one. Settled myself at Hollywood Nails at Suntec City. The outlet is rather spacious, with comfy black sofas for the customers, be it doing manicure or pedicure. Their skills are rather good and the service is excellent! I was wearing a rather difficult pair of shoes on the day and the manicurist was helpful and patient to help me put them on when I was about to leave. Still prefer my French manicure, so I'll definitely be going back!

Met up with Cuixia and YY the following day! Havent met Cuixia since Convocation which was more than three months ago. Thai Express for dinner and we wasted no time in catching up.

Decided that the meal wasnt enough to fill our bottomless pits, so we headed over to Anderson's for ice cream! It always feels good to meet up with great friends and realise that we are still as close, just like the good old days.

All Saturdays are lovely days! Went over to Science Centre for an exhibtion by DSTA. And we reckon that since we were already there, we should spend some time exploring the place. When was the last time you visited the Science Centre? I think for me, it was probably 8 or 9 years ago? Lol. Time to relive some childhood/teenage memories!

There was way too much for us to play at Science Centre! We spent a good 3 hours over there and headed to Downtown East after that for sushi dinner and Quantum of Solace. Have to say that Daniel Craig has gotta be the hottest James Bond ever. Fast and furious, he's amazing. So much like Jackie Chan, as what my love*said. He loves smashing his enemies into mirrors. That has gotta be his favourite. Lol.

Went for float and waffle after the movie at New York New York! Sweet.

Time really passes by too fast. Approaching mid-November soon! And very soon, I am going to embrace December with loads of love*.

Work is getting busier by the days and I'm busy like a bee with the upcoming major projects towards the end of the year. But the whole bunch of colleagues at work makes it soooooo much better!

Friday was Agnes' last day at work. She's such a lovely lady and all of us hate to have her leave. But, we're all happy for her as well because we know she will be much more happier elsewhere. Boss treated the whole office for her farewell lunch at Sakura and being the sweet angel that she was, she bought us chocolates and delicious durian puffs on her last day. And even went to the extra effort to mail us her 'Thank You' note. How nice! Weeling and yours truly met Anqi at Suntec after our meeting at HQ to shop for Agnes' farewell gifts the day before. Yes, skiving at work. Lol. We're so glad she love all the presents!

Saturday was spent with none other than my love*! He brought me to Island Creamery at Serene Center. OMG! The different ice cream flavours there are AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS! When we reached there around 4pm, the whole shop was packed. Not a single seat available. Waited for about 5 minutes before we got a seat. They serve unique flavours there like Ping Pong Milo, Soursop, Coconut, Banana, Very Berry, Horlicks, Teh Tarik, Chendol! Ice cream can be served together with mud pie, brownie or apple strudel if you like! Didnt manage to capture much pictures as we were too busy indulging!

Went for dinner and then, we decided we just cannot get enough of Island Creamery and went back for our second round of ice cream after dinner! Lol. Think Horlicks ice cream, topped with Horlicks powder! Whee! Finally had enough of it and headed home to catch Forensic Heros II all the way till it was time for bed! :)

Woke up at 6am the following day to prepare for Big Walk 2008! Was a grand event with about 20,000 people or more! My first time, and would probably be the last! Lol. No doubt it was hot, tiring and squeezy, but it was a whole lot of fun, laughter and joy completing the walk together with my love*! Teeheehee.

After a good two hours or so, we finially reached Marina Barrage! Nice place with a scenic view and lots of water fountains. We reckon it will be the best place for our next picnic outing!

November is going to be another lovely month!

LIME Flea on Saturday was a hugeeeee success!

Had been raining for the past few days before, but it was bright and sunny on Saturday! Just the perfect weather! Spent 7 hours at Youth Park, from the early morning to late night. Well worth-it, an exciting and fun experience for the three of us! Sales was pretty good as there was a rather big crowd from time to time! Better than I expected. And most importantly, all of us earned some moolahs for ourselves!

A big THANK YOU to my dearest girlies for making this possible! The initial thought of setting up the stall seemed like an easy task, but little did we know that it turned out to be such a chore! Lol. But nonetheless, I guess we had fun during the whole process and that's the most important!

The boyfriends all came to help and pack up the stall in the late evening teeheehee...went for a good meal with my love* after that before we headed home with all the barang barang. And of course, have to thank my love* for giving me his fullest support for the event! Not only did he help in whatever ways that he could, he gave me lots of encouragement and kept reminding me to have fun. Love him to bits! :)

Shout YAY! to public holidays as it means more time with my love*! Met for light shopping and afternoon tea at TCC before our evening movie and late dinner. Simple stuff we do, but always enjoyable with his company.

Life has been pretty occupied with work, netball, trainings and of course, fun and joy.

Sten bought his little Iqa to office last Friday! She's such an adorable baby girl! Keeps smiling and giggling all the time! She has a toy caterpillar which is just as cute as her!

Went down to Youth Park with my love* to settle the registration stuff for the upcoming LIME Flea last Saturday. Lunch at Xin Wang, our usual favourite.

Wandered around town for a bit and headed down for PA's second match for PricewaterhouseCoopers Corporate League at Kallang Netball Centre. We WON! Our PA team is currently in the lead! Lastest results:

To reward me for the good game, my silly sweet love* took me to Old Airport Road for nice food! After which we headed home to prepare all the necessary stuff for the flea market. Everything is almost done up now, with the help of my love*. He took care of the purchasing of the paper bags and reminded me of all the nitty gritty details. You know I'm such a kuku at times, always looking at the big picture and not that meticulous after all hehs. Things are much easier when you put two heads together!

The happy trio met up again on Friday! Outings with *meow meow* and *dodo* make me happy! While waiting for dodo to fetch us for supper after our work, the two vain ladies sprung into action! This darling of mine has gotta be my best *snap snap* partner! We take the best shots together, seriously. Teeheehee.

Cruised to Bugis and wanted to satisfy my craving for Mango Pomelo at Ah Chew's initially. But we changed our mind when we got there and settled for 记得吃 which was just across the street. The mango desserts there were not too bad, but the durian puree puff was way off.

Had to work on Saturday and met my love* for dinner and movie after that! Had Pastamania, yet another of our usual favourites. The boy simply love the pizzas that they offer. Caught Burn After Reading, which I would not recommend for most of you out there as it contains a great deal of black humour content. Went home and lazed around before sending my love* back to the train station.

Met my beloved YY after that as she needed some *leenie* therapy teeheehee...Settled down at Blue Urban Oasis on the comfortable red couch and chatted the night away. Havent met her for quite some time and there was quite abit of catching up to do. This girly of mine is always close to heart! Dear YY, enjoy work, and most importantly, enjoy life! Some peektures! Havent seen her appearing in this little space for quite some time huh? Hehs.

KTV with my love* the following Sunday! After which, we went to IKEA to do some last shopping for LIME Flea. Got a table setting and some decorations. Wanted to hop over to Giant for grocery shopping after, but it was raining rhinos and hippos when we left IKEA. Headed home for early dinner and do nothing (which I secretly love). Was too full to even move, but the boy wanted ice-cream, which seemed like a pretty good idea to me at that time! So, we headed out to Swensens! Yums!

Another beautiful week gone! And we're going to have a long weekend because of the Deepavali holiday! Uber yay-ness!

I have been a rather sporty bunny lately!

Was playing netball with my colleagues on Thursday and Julynn roped me into the PA netball team. Has been a long time since I last touched netball. The feeling of shooting baskets again felt great! Our team competed in the MCYS Sports Fiesta yesterday, which was held at the Singapore Sports School. My first time there and I must say the school is soooooo pretty! Anyway, back to the game. We participated in the mixed netball match in which we won one match and lost the other. All of us were disappointed as we really played hard and lost by a marignal 2 points. But all in all, it was a great bonding session! Next up for the PA netball team would be:

Corporate League 2008 held at Kallang! Already won the first match, three more to go!

Just came back from dinner with my love*! Went for Muthu's Curry at Suntec! MUMBAI DA...INDIA! Lol! They serve really delicious food there! I love their fish head curry! It's comes in 3 different serving sizes at $20, $25 and $30 respectively. We got the $25 curry fish head for both of us and cleared it! We spotted many foreigners dining there as well. Looks like it's a rather popular choice!

Did a bit of shopping around Suntec. Got myself a new pair of track shoes for the 'intensive' amount of sports that I will be doing in the near future. And we went grocery shopping at Carrefour!

I'm taking longer to update my blog nowadays. Apologies to all my readers out there who have been checking back on this little humble space of mine. Life has been pretty busy but fulfilling! Work took me on a rollercoaster ride last week after I came back from camp. But everything is cleared now!

Managed to squeeze some time out on Monday to meet up with my ever dearest *meow meow* and *dodo*! Hehs...It's just awesome, now that Miaoling is working next to me and we get to meet up for lunch and dinner quite often. Ended work at about the same time and made our way to Alps Cafe. It's really a nice place to chill out, with great ambience, nice food, KTV and simple games as well. Waited for Lionel to finish his class and it wasnt long before he arrived!

While waiting for him...we wasted no time in doing what we do best with my BFF!

All of us were famished when he finally arrived at 8.15pm! All the dishes that we ordered were exceptionally nice, although there wasnt much variety to choose from. Prices are reasonable as well.

And yesterday was a public holiday, which meant that it's fun day with my love*! Met in the afternoon for lunch and collected my new spectacles. After which, we went to buy stuff for our little evening picnic! Grabbed bread, tuna, chips, orange juice and what have you. And off we went to ECP!

Wasnt exactly sunny, but it was breezy and cooling! Just the perfect weather for our evening picnic!

And we brought along a mystery guest! Guess who? Lol.

It's our beloved Eeyore! Haha...we treat Eeyore like our own baby, bringing it out whenever we have chances like this! Made use of the picnic time to discuss about our upcoming Thailand trip as well! Uber yay-ness!

3 weeks of hiatus and I'm finally back!

Induction camp at NACLI can never be any more fun with my batch of wacky and crazy cohort mates! 2 weeks in camp was no joke. Everyday was packed to the brim with morning exercise, lectures, team-building activities and project discussions. We were fed practically every two hours: breakfast at 8.30am, tea-break at 10.30am, lunch at 12.30pm, tea-break again at 3.00pm and dinner at either 6.00pm or 7.00pm. Lol. We had two very adorable trainers (Louis and Choy Leng) who stayed with us during the entire 2 weeks. Two of the best trainers/camp instructors that I have come across so far. Some peeks!

We played Angel and Mortal during the camp and this was where we were supposed to drop our notes and gifts! Each of us had a pocket of cheers!

All 30 of us were divided into 4 committees: Project Presentation, Team Learning, Team Welfare and Sports Committee. Unfortunately, I was assigned to be in the Project Presentation committee, which had the most difficult task for the 2 weeks of induction! We had to co-ordinate the whole presentation flow and make sure everything goes smoothly during the presentation to the group directors. Phew. Thank God everything worked out fine!

Spent the last night singing KTV until 3am! Yes, there's KTV and WII at NACLI! After project discussions which usually end around 11.00pm every night, some of us would unwind at the Hi-Bee Lounge.

Last day was pretty emotional as usual. Louis and Choy Leng, being the sweet angels that they are, made a video of us, with our ugly snap shots which they have been constantly snapping throughout the entire two weeks! Made us laugh and cry at the same time.

KTV with my lovely girlies on Tuesday night! Has been a long time since my last singing session, probably in July? Hehs...met at Downtown East for a quick dinner and off to KBOX! Was an enjoyable session indeed! All the singing, and the talking over the singing. Our chatterbox can never stop when we are in each other's company. And when Miss LeeNie whips out her camera, everyone knows what to do!

Meeting the ladies again next Friday after my camp! Birthday celebration for the September babies!

Just came back from dinner at Thai Accent with my boy. Delicious and mouth-watering food they serve! And the lovely boy bought mooncakes for my parents from Intercontinental. The folks commented that the mooncakes were superb and not too sweet. Cant stop popping it into their mouths! In addition, both of us ordered mooncakes from Goodwood Park Hotel for each other's parents! Heard pretty good reviews about their mooncakes. Cant wait to collect it!

Workload has been increasing, and I need to settle all the outstanding stuff and prepare for the upcoming events before I leave for my camp in another one week's time.

Last Sunday.

I went for my first official baking class with my colleague, Weeling! Baked fruit tarts, which took us about 2.5 hours in all. Our teacher for the day made the lesson interesting in every way possible and was patient in explaining every single detail to the students. Satisfied with the final product!

As time was running out, we had no time to bake more cookies with our remaining dough. The teacher was so sweet! She took the dough home and made cookies for all of us! And the cookies were sent to my office on Tuesday evening! Wrapped up nicely! Really made my day!

Was away for course on Wednesday and Thursay at HQ. Made alot of new friends, some of which whom I will be seeing them again soon during the camp next week! Course ended early on Thursday, and I went to meet my beloved YY for dinner and shopping at Bugis! Didnt really get anything for myself. I think I have out-grown Bugis already! It's infested with teenagers who dress like they are attending a fashion show. Time to scout for a new shopping paradise!

Went to work bright and early on Friday. Had breakfast with Peter, Ivan and Mdm Goh. Hurriedly finish up my work as I was only working half-day. Then, it was to SIM for my brother's convocation!

Rushed down to IMM to meet my love* for dinner after he ended work! And Anderson's ice cream was slurpingly delicious!

Dating Saturday!
Lunched at Beppu Menkan Japanese Noodle Restaurant at Suntec City. Ramen was served according to the different levels of spicy-ness. Level 1, 2, 4, 8 and 16. I only had Level 1 and the man had Level 2 (which was already quite spicy in both our opinion)! For those who are interested, please try Level 16 and let me know! Hehs...

We didnt want to go to Suntec initially as the crowd due to COMEX was sure to drown us. But we had to go because of Eeyore! Lol...the man got me this super adorable Eeyore plush toy as my car companion! It's ultra soft and cuddly, made both of us squeezed and hugged it for the entire day hehs...

After we got our baby Eeyore, we attended the RSAF Open House at Paya Lebar Airbase. It was a rather massive and impressive event with static/aerial display, simulations and carnival etc. Slight drizzle in between, but that did not damper our spirits because after the rain, we saw the beautiful rainbow! Whee! Has been a long time since I last saw a rainbow and I couldnt stop snapping at such a breathtaking sight, until the man said it was enough lol...

Spent about 3 hours at the Open House and we went for dinner and Wall E! Say Wall EEEEEEE and EEEEEEEva! Haha...definitely a must-see! Worth 10,000 popcorns! It's amazing how the show can be so captivating when 70% of the time, all you hear in the show is 'Wall E' and 'Eva' hehs...I shall not ruin the day for those who havent got a chance to catch the show yet, but be sure to watch it! Uber cute to the max. Wall E's expressions are classic.

Yesterday was off-in-lieu day due to the National Day holiday!

Both of us took the same day off to run some simple errands. Still, the day was very enjoyable with my love*!

Started the day by making a trip back to office as I left my purse in the office the previous day at work. Then to Chinatown for travel quotations and YumCha. But YumCha buffet only starts at 3pm! Hence, dropped the idea and headed to VivoCity where we had my favourite ThaiExpress! Tom Yam Goong! Yums!

To the bank to settle some stuff and then to Pacific Coffee Company again! Our favourite hangout place! We just lazed the afternoon away deciding on holiday plans and the man was drafting out a list of to-bring items for my NACLI camp in September! Hehs...with him around, nothing can go wrong!

Went down to HP Service Center after that to get my laptop fixed and then, to Queensway to get my FBT shorts! Need some extra pieces for my camp! Back home to Tampines for dinner and we caught The Love Guru as his colleague said that it was a nice show. But it wasnt our cup of tea hehs...

And so...my love* has decided to let me have my way and pamper me during our little getaway by going to BKK! Best part of the trip has gotta be going together with him! Here comes the second best part! On our trip to BKK, we will be staying at...Marriott Courtyard Bangkok! OMG! This place is paradise!

Wont be a trip filled with constant shopping. We're just gonna relax and enjoy life in Thailand at a slower pace with mild shopping, food, spas, massages, attractions...and each other!

I cannot wait for December! Whee!

Havent had much time to take care of this little space for a while. Busy and tired from work, but happy and blissful!

Went to the tour agencies in Chinatown area last Saturday to check out the travel rates. Then to Funan DigitalLife Mall to get my boy's new laptop! Like finally! He got a decent ACER model with an in-built webcam and needless to say, he was pretty much in love with the functions! He's making me super tempted to get a new laptop with in-built webcam to play with him as well hehs...sending my current HP model to the service centre as it's starting to fail me. Here's the big boy playing with his 18 year old toy penguin. Cute to the max! Lol. Couldnt stop laughing at the other end of the screen.

Just came back from another lovely Saturday! This time round, we went to Mint Museum of Toys located along Seah Street. For all vintage toy lovers, this is not a place to be missed. Extremely rare vintage pieces to relive your childhood memories! Expect Snoopy, Flinstones, Batman, TinTin, Ultraman, Popeye, Mickey Mouse, Betty Boop, Bruce Lee, Beatles and so many more!

Definitely dont consider myself to be a sports fanatic, but Beijing Olympics 2008 has been really awesome up till now. Michael Phelps has got to be my favourite swimmer. I hope he gets his 8th Olympics gold medal in the medley race!

And of course, the big hoo-haa in town about Singapore's first Olympics medal in 48 years. My whole office was watching the match of the century, together with Boss, on Friday evening hahs...none of us was in the mood to work as we sat down in front of the google box to support Singapore. It was truly an intense heart-thumper. And of course, everyone jumped for joy when Singapore was guaranteed at least a Silver Olympics medal! And I'm not shy to say that I had tears in my eyes. I kid you not. Somewhere in a little corner of my heart, I felt touched.

Some important events going on at work this week...but all is over! The biggest event this week, which ended today, was a HUGE success! And my boss and colleagues are showering this baby in the office with too much love! Hehs!

Once again, it was the much treasured and cherished Saturday yesterday! Had a quick lunchie with my love* and we headed over to Pacific Coffee Company at VivoCity where we just lazed the whole afternoon away! Sharing a piece of blueberry cheesecake over coffee and smoothie, reading magazine together, baring our hearts out, sharing our future plans together. No better way to spend a lazy Saturday afternoon together on the comfortable couch!

After coffee, we went to the bookstore to look up some information for our holiday trip in December! To Pattaya, and then to Thailand! The sun, the sea, massage, food, spa and shopping all in one! What more to ask for? It's just a great great plan! Whee!

Dined and after which, we headed to The Southern Ridges. It's a really beautiful place with loads of floral and fauna. And much to our pleasant surprise, we actually managed to catch the aerial display of the NDP Preview! Spot the pair of wings!

It wasnt long before the sun started to set. A glimpse of the beautiful sunset!

When night set in, we walked all the way up to Mount Faber, with a slight hope to catch the fireworks display of the NDP Preview and YES! We did! It was such a rare beautiful sight, that we didnt even bother to take pictures. Both of us just stood there, admiring the fireworks with a smile on our faces, and occasional 'WOWs' teeheehee...

The much awaited day finally arrived...

I got all flustered up first thing in the morning because it had to rain on that day and I was caught in the terrible jam. Everybody was anxious that I wasnt able to make it in time for the ceremony. Arrived at 9.30am and robed with the help of my parents and love*!

Was seated right at the first row with Jianxiang beside me, and thus, the ceremony didnt get too boring. I clapped with all my might for Hubby, Shirley, Cookie, Cuixia, Keeve, Zikai, Girish, Arun and sooooooo many of my other friends! Chek Papa caught my love* and yours truly on his video camera when we were up on stage! After two hours, it was finally over!

At the reception area, nobody was interested in the buffet anymore! It was a mad rush of grabbing people to pose in front of my camera and calling people to locate where they are hehs...

Spent some time after the ceremony to reminisce old times around the school with my love*. A feeling of sweet bitterness lingered from every tutorial rooms and every lecture halls that we went back to. Part of me longed to go back to school as a student, when everything was carefree except having to worry about exams. But the other part of me was relieved to enter the next phase of life as a working adult, earning my own keep.

NTU has left me many beautiful memories, and these memories are definitely here to stay. All the friendships fostered, they will be greatly treasured as well.

18 July (Friday) - Joanne's birthday celebration!

Rushed down to Clarke Quay after work to meet my dearest girlies for dinner at Ricciotti Italian. They serve pretty delicious pasta and their desserts are a must try! And the whole lot of us headed down to Fashion Bar after dinner for drinks! Not much pictures for the night. I guess most of us were tired after work!

19 July (Saturday) - Day with my love*

It was a really simple day, but simple days are always the sweetest! Went over to Jurong and we caught the much anticipated Red Cliff! I thought it was pretty good! And I cant wait for the sequel to be out. Back to his house for dinner and we played Scrabble and watched DVD to pass our time. It was already late at night when we made our way back to Tampines. Home-Sweet-Home to our love nest! Whee!

20 July (Sunday) - Dinner at Lau Par Sat with NTU girlies!

Has been a really loooooooong time since we gathered! Rushed down to Raffles after my event on Sunday to meet the girls for dinner. It was a great meal and we ordered everything spicy to our own liking! I havent met Kaijing and Cuixia in like 3 whole months or longer!

Updates till now! This entry has taken me way toooooo long and it's time I turn in after one whole day of work! Meeting my love* for breakfast in 8 hours time!

Work has started for a week!

My bosses are all very nice to me! And my colleagues are friendly and helpful!

Not too busy for now, but I guess my workload will start to come in from next week onwards!

No matter how busy work is, my love* and yours truly always set aside time for a simple dinner affair on one of the weekdays after work and over the weekend! He never fails to cheer and perk me up after a whole day of tiring work! Times spent together are never enough, but we learn to be contented. Quality instead of quantity.

Cant wait for Joanne's birthday celebration next Friday! Seems like a long time since the ten of us last gathered together. I will hurry to finish my work on that day and rush over for the dinner!

KTV with my girls yesterday!

Huihua drove over to fetch YY and yours truly for KTV at Downtown East after her interview and Joanne joined us shortly after that! Love the KBOX there. New and spacious.

Went shopping with YY after that at Bugis and Suntec as both Huihua and Joanne headed home. Spent a bomb on necessities for work. Parted with YY and met my love* for dinner after he knocked off! Dined at our favourite place and to our ultra pleasant surprise, we saw Mr Cookie Ken Koh! Hehs...he joined us at our table and the three of us caught up with one another a great deal! It's always nice to meet up with old friends.

My convocation ceremony will be on 23 July 2008 at 10am! So many of my beloved peeps will be in the same session as me! Zikai, Joseph Situwali, Keeve, Shirley, Cuixia, Cookie Ken Koh and my love* will be convocated together with meeeee! Uber YAY-ness!

Was greeted with a slice of home-made yummylicious strawberry cheesecake when I went for tuition with my girl just now. Looked good, tasted even better! I love strawberries!

The Gohs has always been very kind and generous towards me for the past two years, and there is no doubt that my girl is hardworking and adorable. I really wish I do not have to give up my tuition after I start work next week. But, I will have to see how the situation goes.

As usual, it was a dating Saturday! Settled for something simple as it was the last Saturday before the man is going to start work. He came over to my house after his hair-cut, watched teevee, out for dinner and movie and home sweet home again hehs...I told him to give me his biggest smileeeeeeee! And here goes!

Family Sunday*

Daddy drove the whole family down to Serangoon Broadway to have our studio shoot. I must say I was rather impressed with the service that SB provided. The customer service was good, considering that the place was packed with many other customers as well. The make-up was nicely done, not too horrendous/ghostly. And the photographers were really friendly and nice to work with. Taking the shots were fun, but super tiring. Too many poses and smiles. Pictures will only be ready next week. I hope they turn out okay! Considering that we spent over more than a grand on the studio shots.

Nothing beats having my love* back by my side!

The last few days were spent on catching up! He showed me pictures and video clips which he took during the trip and told me all about the stories, adventures and near-death experiences that took place in Nepal. He even kept a recording of all the events through a little notebook and shared it with me. It contained nitty gritty details about his whole mountain trekking trip and words for me. I'm really proud of the fact that he managed to finish the most difficult trek in the world through his determination and perservance.

I guess this trip was truly an eye-opener for him, taught him some lessons. In fact, it taught me a few lessons as well, indirectly. And I believe we cherish and treasure each other more than ever now. I thank God that he's back safe and sound, although he suffered from some burns on his face and hands. But, it's all going to get well pretty soon!

Just earlier on, I was telling my man about my new job. Well, I guess it's just the jittery feeling that people get when they embark on a new phase of life. Just like the first day you go to school, the first time you join a competition etc. As usual, the man listened me out and offered some sound advice which I'm always thankful for. Filled with anticipation, excitement and uncertainty about my new job, but I'm definitely looking forward to it!

Just came home from HK Cafe and KTV with Miaoling, Lionel and new-found friend, Zhiwei! It was an enjoyable meeting and we had our fair share of fun and laughter.

To my ultra pleasant surprise and anticipation, I found this on my table when I got home!

My sweetie pie sent me a postcard all the way from Nepal, which took 2 weeks to arrive in my mailbox. But still, it made me smile from the bottom of my heart. He conquered the exact mountain as featured on the postcard! Such a real beauty, isnt it? So proud of him! Cant wait for him to tell me exciting adventures and stories for my bedtime! Hehs...He's coming back really sooooooooon! In 18 hours time!

Off to bed, then to tuition, then to Serangoon Broadway to purchase my convocation gown, and my Hubby will be back!

So many random activites during the last two weeks but I'll just update on a few important ones!

040608 - Sentosa and Miaoling's early birthday celebration!
Got outta bed early to meet the girls for breakfast and we headed down to Sentosa after that! Has been a long time since I last went and I'm glad I did! Played volleyball and I got myself a nice tan! Hehs...The weather was good and the sky was clear! Whee!

And then...here comes the BIG THING! I drove all of them from Sentosa to Downtown East in Huihua's car! OMG! It was the first time that I drove since I got my license last July. I was so super duper excited over it that my heart was pumping wildly haha...

The girls were so encouraging and sporting about my driving skills and it was a smooooooooooth ride after all! Picked Miaoling up along the way to Downtown East!

Had dinner at New York New York and the food was pretty good! Our usual cheap thrill after that! *snap snap*

Caught Sex And The City together after that and I think that must be the best movie that I have watched up till now this year! I totally love everything about the show including high-end fashion (especially Sarah Jessica Parker's high fashion sense!), girly friendships, love and life. 2.5 hours just flew past without realisation and I was entertained every second of the show. Tells a great deal and it made me appreciate my girls more! So glad I caught the movie with them! :)

060608 - Lionel's birthday celebration!
Met up with Miaoling and Lionel to celebrate his birthday! We dined at Friends restaurant at Serangoon Gardens. The ambience of the place was super duper nice and comfy and the food was great! All three of us enjoyed ourselves to the max and we are meeting up again next week! Cant wait!

Results were out on Thursday! Got straight Bs for my final semester and I graduated with my Honours! Whee! Ultra super duper happy! Cant wait for convocation in July to see all my school mates again!

And sooooooo...it is my birthday week!

Shall start with updates starting last week.

Went for an interview at PA (People's Association) last Wednesday, as an Assistant Constituency Manager. Was interviewed by a panel of 5 interviewers! Gawd...I swear I stopped right in my tracks (and appeared shocked/stunned) when I opened the door to the Conference Room and saw all 5 of the interviewers seated there. But everything went well! In fact, one of my best interviews by far. The atmosphere was relaxing and light-hearted. I think I did pretty well! Hehs...

Friday saw me attending a series of tests at MOE (Ministry of Education). This was prior to the interview for a Corporate Communications Executive. I sat in the room for 2 whole hours typing away on a computer and finished the soooooo GP-ish tests, much to my own amazement. There were 3 parts to the test: Media Analysis, Writing and Article Translation (from Chinese to English). Darn pround of myself. Hahs...rushed home to change outta formal wear and meet my girls for dinner at Swensens! Food was great, but the company was even better. Has been more than 2 months since we last met!

I love Saturdays! Saturdays spell L.O.V.E! Caught Accuracy of Death with my Hubby and both of us thought that it was pretty good! I seriously recommend it! Then, we headed over to HK Cafe along East Coast Road for dinner. We simply love the food there hehs...back to our love-nest after that, as usual. =)

The following Sunday, Daddy and Mummy bought me a pair of diamond earrings from Taka Jewellery for my birthday present! Woots! Sings: diamonds are a girl's best friends...

And I spent my birthday eve with my beloved girls! Did a little shopping with YY before that and I bought my sandals at NOVO for half the price! Whee! Saw Cookie Monster and Elmo along the way!

Met the rest of the girls at Pasta de Waraku at Marina Square for dinner. The food wasnt too bad, but the serving was way too small!

Headed over to Cafe Cartel for desserts and girly chit-chat sessions over sinfully yummylicious desserts! Chocolates make us happyyyyyy!

And then, I think all of us did the craziest thing ever. Although we have to admit that we are getting old, the whole lot of us went over to Diana's house for mahjong and wii (screams!) until 3am! Haha...and my sweetie pies sang a birthday song for me when all 9 of us were squeezed inside the lift on the way up to Diana's house as the clock struck 12am. How cozy is that? Hehs...they are the sweetest things ever!

Birthday was spent with my Hubby! It was a really simple affair as I didnt wanted anything lavish. We went window-shopping, had a nice dinner and went for his favourite desserts at Ahhhhh Chew haha...he's a fan of their desserts, definitely. Hubby bought me the novel P.S. I Love You! Have been wanting to read that since ages ago because we missed the movie when it was screened. He wants the book to keep me company while he's away in Nepal! And along with that, he bought me a pretty pretty diamond necklace from Citigems! Sings again: diamonds are a girl's best friends...

Hubby came over to my house on Thursday and we spend some simple time together, slacking around and watching Music and Lyrics. Then, he headed for tuition while I went to meet my HRM mates for dinner. Dinner was a simple affair, and we settled down at Bar-Ra-Cuda along Boat Quay for a drink-and-chill session. The best part was, we caught fireworks there! And I choose to believe the fireworks were to celebrate my birthday although it's one day later haha...had a great time together! And the live band there was pretty good!

Beloved YY bought me my favourite oversized sunnies! Perfect for the sunny weather!

Went over to Hubby's house for lunch and get-together on Friday as he's flying off to Nepal the following day, which is our usual dating Saturday. Sighs...and he will be gone for a good 3 weeks. And today is only my second day without him. This is terrible haha...but I can live with it. After all, it's his graduation trip and he's there to enjoy himself. See you 3 weeks later, Hubby! =)

Met up with good old Lionel the dodo yesterday! He brought me to Astons Specialities along East Coast Road for late lunch. Both of us were equally late haha...it was my first time at Astons and it's a rather cozy place for a meal. The food wasnt too bad either.

Then, we headed over to Parkway for shopping. Spent most of our time at Borders looking through the novels. And I couldnt resist buying this pen and pencil that I saw in the store! I have a fetish for anything with stripes, floral motifs and polka dots!

This is Lionel the dodo! Good friends since the JC days. And this is his debut appearance in my blog haha...this friend of mine has defnitely gotta be a god-send gift. Always there for me, no matter what. And we can talk about anything under the sun! Cheers to our friendship!

Received a call from PA on Friday and they have accepted me! Whee! I kinda like the job scope as it's pretty challenging and vibrant. They are going to pay me reasonably well for my job but the only concern is that, my off days are not going to be fixed on Saturdays and Sundays. Which means, I am going to work on some Saturdays and some Sundays! But I guess, this isnt going to be too much of a problem for me. If MOE doesnt get back to me soon enough for my test results, I will probably take up PA's offer! Yes! Hehs...I'm excited over my new working life!

I will be keeping myself occupied so that 3 weeks will be over in a wink! =)

Went to the Botanic Gardens with my precious! We had great fun looking at the pretty flowers, looking at people, strolling amidst the greenery, snapping pictures away and feeding the mosquitoes! Haha...it was a nice date for the both of us!

120508 - Baking day at Chef Zikai's house!

Got up bright and early at 7am and headed to Bukit Batok to learn baking from Zikai, together with the Wong sisters! We baked cheesecake and cookies which turned out to be pretty good! Zikai was super patient in his coaching! Thanks, Chef Zikai! Hehs...Headed down to my precious' house with my fruits of labour for the day and he was definitely over the moon! Eating has gotta be his favourite activity!

Got a job offer after my interview today, but I am not sure if I should take it up as I have 2 more important interviews to attend on Wednesday and Friday. But I'm being forced/pressurized to sign the contract within this week. Sigh. Dilemmas. Choices. Arghhhhhhhhhhhh!

No hassle at all over the final presentation. Everything was cool! Each FYP presentation was entitled to a 30 minutes time slot with their respective professors and we were done in 20 minutes! Cool thing.

Finally finished my final paper in NTU!

It was an emo emo day.

I thought I would be elated after my final paper. Yet, I felt abit lost and...empty. Four years just flew by...and just when I am just starting to get used to everything, I have to leave everything behind and familarize myself with another different environment soon. Well, I guess this is life, isnt it? Moving on and accepting changes.

The week that passed hasnt been easy.

Finally handed in the HAND-WRITTEN design report on Monday. Why does Professor Alphones wants a hand-written report instead of a type-written one? Hmm...But anyways, my first hand-written report in NTU for the past 4 years was smooth sailing. I'm pretty proud of my masterpiece. Hehs...

Then, it was FYP with YY from Tuesday all the way to Thursday. Busy generating results for our project.

Rushed out the FYP final report for the whole of Good Friday and it's finally done! Total YAY-ness! We'll be unofficially done with FYP after the demonstration next Tuesday! There's still a final presentation in May...sigh.

This mid-term break has been the busiest, and yet, most fulfilling. I did my fair share of work and had my fair share of fun.

Tuitions. Project discussions. Written assignments. Tutorials. Presentation preparation. Reports. Hanging out with my love and my besties. Done them all!

This mid-term break also made me realise that I am such a lucky girl. Blessed with my ever loving family, my superb boyfriend who nevers fails to remind me how much he loves me every other minute, and my besties who never hesitates to offer help when I am lost in my own thoughts, own world. I truly love all of you to bitsssssss! Teeheehee...

Hectic school life for the last semester in NTU before I graduate.

Been tied down with tests, reports, assignments and what have you.

Just a small check list for myself:
1) FYP report.
2) Lab design report.
3) E & S essay assignment.
4) E & S presentation.
5) Professional Communication presentation.
6) Tourism presentation.

All due straight after the mid-term break. Should I embrace the mid-term break? Haha...Kinda dread it this time round. Mid-term break means work work and work! But I love all the non-engineering modules this semester, which makes things a whole lot easier!

So occupied by work that I havent been spending much quality time together with the man recently. Other than our usual morning calls and messages during the day, this is what we always look forward to at night:

HAPPY CNY!

4 days of festive holidays just flew by. Totally enjoyed myself to the MAX! Whee~

Just some quick updates.

The boyfriend gave me a little surprise last Monday when he fetched me home from school! He went to Candy Empire at Vivo to get me my sweets and then to Suntec Donut Factory to buy me my favourite donuts!

Third day of CNY was spent at Diana's house! Known all of them since Secondary One and this is the first time that we are actually celebrating CNY together! Had potluck and I prepared tuna sandwiches which all of them finished up! Yayness!

How can we miss out on Yu Sheng during CNY?

We went crazy after the singing and the eating and we grabbed everything that we saw at Diana's house that we could use as props for our photos haha...

Just came back from tuition and I got a big fat juiclicious red packet from my tutee's mum! They can never be more kind to me anymore. And I was fed with CNY goodies, as well as my favourite Vitagen!

Whee! And both of us have a KTV session together with the rest of the EEE gang on next Thursday as well!

I cant wait for the mahjong session and *ahhhhhhh duuuuuuu gennnnn* PK match at my house on the second day of CNY with my EEE gang!

Life has been pretty good to me lately! p.s except for FYP

Met up with the NTU girls last Sunday for NYDC at Heeren!

Then, it was shopping again at FEP and Cinelesiure. I am probably going to suffer from FEP phobia soon...been there for the past 2 or 3 Sundays already. And it doesnt really help when I keep spending money over there. =x

Then...it was YY's birthday celebration last evening. Had Korean food at Chowan along Tanjong Pagar road.

I'm finally back with my first entry of the new year! Been rather lazy to blog lately and I havent been taking much pictures as well as I'm having a terrible pimple outbreak. Sigh, it's depressing to even think about it.

Way outdated pictures before my outbreak. Blading with YY, Joanne, Zikai and Rajesh at ECP on New Year Day! I had lunch with the boyfriend at Parkway before that. That silly boy took 1.5 hours to travel from Jurong to Parkway just to fulfill our lunch date haha...we had my favourite Pastamania! The guys came to fetch me after that and walked me to ECP because I didnt know my way there lolz...

Rajesh is such a cute guy ever since our good old HRM days! Slogging those late nights away, cabbing home at 4am on the day of the presentation. He was so anxious and famished for Burger King after the blading session that he fell three times when we were approaching BK haha...it was his first try at blading that day and he did pretty well! *thumbs up* And credits to YY for being my sugar delivery lady that evening! *muacks*

Last Saturday was a simple pat-tor day with the boyfriend. We caught Will Smith's I AM LEGEND. Great actor, great show. And we went furniture-hunting at Barang Barang! Haha...it was pure pleasure just to talk about the future with him and envision our future house. =)

Sunday was spent with YY and Cuixia. Shopping at FEP and Bugis. Clever way to escape from the spring cleaning chores at home as well hehs...All of us bought a few items at super duper attractive prices. Cant bring myself not to buy it!

Busy with FYP ever since school started. Lots of committment this semester. And since this is my last semester in NTU, I really hope to enjoy it, hence I made certain decisions that were rather hard for me. But no regrets for now.

Just came back from dinner and Ah Chew desserts with the boyfriend! -yums- The silly boy loves the desserts there haha...I treasure every Saturday that we spent together. Precious time away from school. I heart this relationship that we share and the fact that we allow each other absolute freedom and yet, at the same time, maintaining that high level of mutual trust. Too much to say, beyond words. But the boy knows it. =)

Met up with my lovely NTU girls on Thursday!

Grabbed a bite at Xin Wang in the afternoon as I havent had my lunch for the day and skipped dinner the previous night. I was famished!

Kaijing was too sweet to be true! She baked cookies for all of us! And wrapped up with loads of love! One for Xia, one for Leen and one for Christine! =)

While waiting for the food to be served, we wasted no time!

Headed to Partyworld after that and sang for a good 4 hours! What else can I say? Kaijing never fails to amaze us with her voice! More pictures!

Walked over to Taka for dinner after that. We brought Cuixia for her first Pepper Lunch experience hehs...but the service wasnt really good and we left nasty comments for the service crew haha...

Two out of the four most important guys in my life...Eugene and Bryan. Eugene's mum was so kind to invite us over for lunch on Christmas Eve and these two guys treated YY and yours truly to Haagen Daz after that! We received Christmas present from them as well! How nice can they get? =)

Mr Chek came all the way to NTU after his FYP at NUS to fetch me back to Tampines after my FYP yesterday. Headed to Crystal Jade for dinner, which he finally allowed me to pick up the tab for once haha...went in search for my photo frame after that, but failed to find any that caught my attention. As usual, we walked home hand in hand, admiring the Christmas lightings along the way. YES! There are Christmas lightings along the streets near my house! *pretty* I like to tease and trick him, and he always love to make me smile. =)

We met Daddy downstairs in the most unexpected way. As expected, my dad questioned me about Mr Chek at home but he was all smiles. Mum came to join in the fun, followed by the brother and grandma. Everyone was full of praises for Mr Chek which made him fly up up up into the sky haha...my silly dum dum. *heart*

Results were released yesterday! Thankful that I cleared all the modules but I am not exactly happy with my grades. Could have done better, as I didnt really work as hard this semester. Last semester next year, last chance to strive and work hard!

Sorry to all my faithful readers who have been keeping a lookout for this space. I am finally back! With truckloads of pictures!

First up! Steamboat at Eugene's house! Mac breakfast in the morning before heading to NTUC for some grocery shopping! The two men did all the work, including choosing the food, paying for the food and lugging all the food back to Eugene's place haha...With these two guys around, nothing can go wrong. I can just sit back and relax!

Over the trip, we visited the Twin Towers! It was like...WOW. Massive and impressive.

At The Batik Workshop. Those hand-painted batik paintings are really pretty! And expensive, of course.
At Beryl's Chocolate Kingdom. A must-visit for all chocolate lovers, where you can shop for chocolates and know all about the history of chocolates!

Took like over 200 over photos in KL alone. Am lazy to upload all of them. Of course, other than sight-seeing, I went shopping as well. Came back with a few satisfied buys. The dresses there are uber cheap! And I did my pretty French manicure too!

Flight was delayed for an hour on the way back. Touched down to rainy Singapore. Met up with Mr Chek for Coffee Club at night. That silly dum dum even bought me a silly present which I heart* alot =)

After ONE WHOLE MONTH...I'm finally back after the short hiatus!

Exams are overrrrrrrr! Total yayness! This semster wasnt that smooth-sailing at all. Some papers were exceptionally easy, some were totally out of the range. I just hope that the results will turn out okay!

Everything around you seems so interesting all of a sudden when the mugging mood sets in. This was taken before design class started and YY has a video of me doing a butt-shaking stunt captured on video in her handphone. She's going to use it to blackmail me someday soon.

Mugging sessions can get someone into a serious hunger fit. So, Cuixia drove the hungry trio : YY, LeeNie and Cookie Siang for curry fish head! Our favourite must-have!

On another random day, we had Crystal Jade!

After EE4152 paper last Friday...chilling out at Coffeebean with sinfully sweet addictions! LeeNie has a sweet tooth! This was to celebrate Cuixia's last paper as well!

And finally, after our last ordeal which ended at 7pm last night! Some Thai food to spice up the start of the much awaited holidayssssssssssssss!

Recently, this one man got me all addicted and hooked - 楊宗緯, also known as Aska Yang. Totally captivated and falling head over heels in love with him. You guys really have to listen to him sing! He is just so GOOD!

Alright, he might not be that good-looking to other people, but he doesnt have to have good looks to make people fall in love with his voice. I guess he is the second person that can really make me go ga-ga over him. The first was Jerry Yen when Meteor Garden was still so popular back then haha...

Every late nights spent mugging was accompanied by his songs!

Has been a long time since I had sucha relaxing weekend!

Went to school for design elective and surprisingly, I didnt felt that sick after seeing my friends in school. They definitely cheered me up and made me felt a whole lot better! Lunch wasnt good. Fishball soup noodles without fishballs?! Haha...exactly what a patient needs. Thank God I have great friends in school who took care of me!

What kept me awake during design elective...a cup of warm mocha latte in the freezing weather!

Met dodo for dinner and movie in the evening! Imperial Treasures for dinner and Brothers at Marina after that.

Totally adore the show! Definitely worth 5 popcorns! It was so obvious that I was drooling over Andy Lau throughout the whole show that even dodo noticed it! Oh manz...so shy la! Haha...Coffee Club after movie. I love heart to heart talks. And the fact that we seem to be able to talk about anything under the sun! =)
