25122006 - MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Met up with Yeeyong, Suat, Lingli and Shirley to buy food for our steamboat in the afternoon. Somehow or rather, it feels fun to be shopping in the supermarket, pushing the trolley along the way haha...maybe of the lack of chance to do so. Anyways, we managed to make it to Suat's house with all the food. Waited for sleepyhead Rongping to arrive and we started our steamboat cum BBQ dinner!

It was a joyful Christmas Day with my girls and I had presents from Hong Kong and Japan! Teeheehee...

Results were out today...and I have to thank my lucky stars (again!) for letting me clear all my modules! Pretty contented with my grades! Now, it's time to concentrate on my attachment and my final year modules after that...and...getting my minor in Sociology! -winks-

And I got my new laptop! -weets-

A brand new year is soon approaching. One year flew passed...just like that. Reflecting on 2006, it has been a rather great year. Relationships were strengthen and I had achieved what I set out to accomplish at the start of the year...=)

May 2007 be an even better year for all of us!!!

Yesterday was a fulfilling day!

Met Yeeyong for gym in the morning...had a good workout since after the exams. After which we went home to shower and met again for lunch at Tampines Mac. Chatted with the dear girl over lunch and went to shop around while waiting for Cuixia to arrive.

And...off we went to IKEA!

The 2 of them havent been there since the opening...and we had a great time over there! I love shopping at IKEA...where I never fail to envision what my future house would be like. I predict my future house would be super IKEA-ish haha...and we went around trying out sofas and beds like nobody's business! Had our dinner over there...wanted to have their meatballs and chicken wings but the queue was way too long...so, we ended up with delicious nasi padang in the end! Statisfying~

Oh yah! Went to the library and I borrowed a James Patterson book. It's damn good...only into Chapter 6, which is only 20 odd pages of the whole book and the story is already full of twists! James Patterson is definitely greatly recommended for avid book readers out there!

Okies...just a quick update before I hit lalaland.

The whole singing process was uber fun and high...with our own version of 千里之外 and my super energetic 精舞门 haha...I totally adore that song! Trust me...adore is an understatement.

Chatted over dinner after that...

Was great hanging out with you girls! And congrats on the allocation of IA companies! Hopefully we will have time to do this again even when we get busy with IA for 6 whole months hur hur...

Alrite...I fell sick during the last 2 days and stayed home. Missed swimming with Shirley and gym session with Yeeyong. BUT...I finished reading The Five People You Meet in Heaven in one day! Definitely a good read! Thumbs up...learnt alot from it. Anyone has Tuesdays with Morrie?! I want to read that too!
